Environmental stewardship refers to responsible use and protection of the natural environment through conservation and sustainable practices. When God created human beings, he gave them the responsibility of taking care of the rest of creation.

We are currently in the Anthropocene epoch whereby human beings are the main cause of climate change since they are emitting gases which are harmful to people and the planet. They are also engaging in unsustainable practices like manufacturing plastics and other products which are not eco friendly.
If we are to continue with this trend whereby human beings regard themselves as being superior to the rest of creation and not from the perspective of coexisting with the rest of creation, the future generations will not have a habitable earth where they can get to thrive.

As a young person I am using my voices to speak up against environmental injustices so that we can be able to live in harmony with the rest of the creation. I also have a youth led initiative called Towards a Better Earth initiative that seeks to advocate for sustainability and conservation through working with primary schools and universities in Kenya and also partnering with other initiatives in the environmental field so that we can have a sustainable future.
